Weekly Photography Assignment: Water
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to encourage yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 166: Water
Our theme this week is Water and we’d love to see what creative shots of water you can take! Water can be found everywhere in nature if you look hard enough. Perhaps you will photograph a rainy landscape, or wildlife experiencing the wet weather? Maybe you will experiment with long exposure techniques to capture the movement of waves? Or maybe you will get out your macro lens and look for the tiny examples of water in nature, such as water droplets? The options are endless, and we can’t wait to see what inspiring images of water in nature you can create.

Last week’s winner
Last week’s theme was Garden Wildlife– and our favourite image this week is:
This week’s winner is this image, captured by Eldrik Ajiyi of ‘One of the house finches that are frequents of my backyard. This one just found his spring mate!’ We love the misty tones that complement the subject of this shot, and the elegant composition of the foliage around the finch. Well done, and thank you to all who entered!
