Weekly Photography Assignment: Feathers
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 140: Feathers
Our theme this week is Feathers. We were so inspired by the images from the Bird Photographer of the Year competition announced last week that this week we want you to get creative with your bird shots and put the focus on the feathers… Can you shoot some macro images showcasing the detail of feathers close up? Or maybe you could play with long exposure to capture the movement of a bird’s feathery wings? Maybe you’ll try for a close-up portrait of a bird that showcases their unique feathered patterns or colours!

Last week’s winner
Last week’s theme was Clouds – and our favourite image this week is:
This week’s winner is by Louise. What a fabulous sky you witnessed…We love the way the colour of the clouds is reflecting on the sea, and the incredibly rich tones and intricate patterns of the clouds above. Well done!
