Weekly Photography Assignment: Wildlife Portraits
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 157: Wildlife Portraits
Our theme this week is Wildlife Portraits and we’d love to see what creative portraits of wildlife you can come up with! Perhaps you will photograph an animal at a distance using a telephoto lens? Maybe you will experiment with long exposure to capture the movement of that species? Or perhaps you’ll use a macro lens to create a portrait of an some of our smaller examples of wildlife? The options are endless, and we can’t wait to see what creative wildlife portraits you can take.

Last week’s winner
Last week’s theme was Creative Imagery – and our favourite image this week is:
This week’s winner is by Eldrik Ajiyi. ‘Black-and-white silhouette of a White-breasted Nuthatch.’ We love the creative take on this portrait of a nuthatch. The use of silhouette against negative space is highly effective and entertaining. Well done Eldrik!
