Weekly Photography Assignment: Smartphone Photos

Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our two favourites to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.

Week 67: Smartphone Photos

Our theme this week is Smartphone Photos. For this assignment, submit nature photos that were shot using a smartphone only. No mirrorless or DSLR cameras please!

Submit Your Photo

To enter your photo to this assignment, add it in the comments below this post. By submitting your photo, you are giving us permission to feature your photo the following week if it is chosen as one of our favourites.

Last Week’s Favourites

Our favourite images from last week’s theme, Telephoto Lenses. You can see all of the entries here.

I love frosty mornings, and I’ve always loved the details in the branches. This photo was shot at 400mm with a 100-400mm lens, and it really isolates the trees from the landscape. I also like the bright bark of the tree in the foreground, allowing it to stand out from the background.

Good luck!
