Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website.

Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to encourage yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.

Week 245: Signs of Autumn

This week, our theme is Signs of Autumn. In the Northern Hemisphere, we are tipping into the season of autumn! Photographing signs of autumn can be a wonderful way to capture the beauty and essence of the season. Perhaps you will focus on the small details that represent autumn, such as fallen leaves, acorns, or dewdrops on spiderwebs. Macro photography can help you capture intricate textures and patterns that might go unnoticed. Or maybe you will photograph a wider landscape that has started to show off the tonal qualities of this new season. Take advantage of the soft, warm light during the golden hour, which occurs shortly after sunrise or before sunset. This light enhances the colors and adds a magical touch to your signs of autumn photos. If it isn’t autumn yet where you live, photograph things that remind you of this beautiful season. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
