Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.

Week 150: Golden Hour

Our theme this week is Golden Hour Photography and we’d love to see what images you can create using the most beautiful light of the day, in late evening or early morning! Will you photograph golden light through autumn trees? Or backlight an animal in your garden against the setting sun? Perhaps you will use macro photography to capture a tiny detail like fungi lit by the sunrise? The options are endless, and we can’t wait to see what photos you can create celebrating nature at golden hour.

Please keep images under 2MB in size otherwise you may have difficulty uploading them.

Photos must be your own work
Please enter no more than 3 photos per week
Please only enter photos taken within the week of the assignment

This week’s winner is by Massimiliano Bartocci with this image of ‘Drops on a Spiderweb. We love the use of focus on the droplets – they are crisp and clear and draw our attention to a tiny piece of nature that many people miss seeing – the message of macro photography we think!
