Weekly Photography Assignment: Dramatic Skies
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our two favourites to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 91: Dramatic Skies
Our theme this week is Dramatic Skies. Skies can make or break a photo, and there’s nothing better than a really dramatic skyline for a moody shot. This week, we want you to try and bring some drama into your nature images by harnessing the sky.

Last Week’s Favourite
Here is our favourite submission from last week’s theme, Yellow. You can view all of the entries here.
This is a lovely shot by Robert which shows an American Goldfinch surrounded by lovely complimenting yellow flowers. The soft bokeh in the background, with yellow tones, creates a visually pleasing and non-distracting background to result in a strong portrait of the bird. Well done!
