Adobe Officially Announces Lightroom CC

Great news for all Adobe Lightroom fans – the CC version has finally been released! Let’s take a look at what is new in the latest version of the popular editing software.

Performance Improvements

Users should seen some definite performance improvements with Lightroom CC compared to Lightroom 5. The program now uses your computer’s GPU, unlike its predecessor. Adobe says that some users will see an increase in performance of 10x.

HDR Merge

You can now create HDR photos directly in Lightroom, compiling multiple images into one. Take a look at this video which shows the process.

Panorama Merge

Stitch together a sequence of photos to make your own panoramic photo right inside Lightroom.

Other Improvements

There is now facial recognition, filter brushes and improved slideshows. Last but not least, here are some hidden gems of Adobe Lightroom CC.
