Weekly Photography Assignment: Trees
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to force yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website.
Week 148: Trees
Our theme this week is Trees and we’d love to see what images you can create with trees! With autumn colours now in full swing there should be plenty of options. Will you use dawn and dusk lighting to create a beautifully backlit tree? Or capture a lone tree on a misty morning? Perhaps you will instead look closely at the details of trees, and produce some macro images of leaves and bark? Or maybe you’ll get creative and try some more artistic and experimental shots by incorporating camera movement!
Here are some tutorials to help you:

Last week’s winner
Last week’s theme was Mammals – and our favourite image this week is:
This week’s winner is by Paul with this image of a fox. We love the emotion captured on the face of the fox – it makes for a stunning and emotive portrait of a very handsome animal, and it reminds us a little of the ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox!’ Well done Paul!
