Think Tank Photo Unveils Backpack in ‘Retrospective’ Line-up
Think Tank Photo recently announced a backpack version of their popular Retrospective model of camera bag, offering a great choice to the market for multi-day travellers and photographers alike.
Think Tank Photo offers many shoulder and sling-style bags, but for those of us who find them uncomfortable or need to be carrying a heavier load, the new backpack style is a welcome addition to the line-up.

The backpack has an unassuming, but classically-styled, retro aesthetic that is made from tough, durable materials that are built to last. The canvas outer shell is DWR-treated to repel those wet weather days, but there is also a rain cover included for any prolonged downpours.
All of your gear is easily accessible from the top latch, but there is also a full zipper closure system for added security. The entire padded back even zips open, revealing compartmentalised storage for lenses, bodies, flash guns and other accessories.
You can even fit a 15″ laptop within the padded back compartment, which is a bonus for such a compact backpack – ideal for commuters and those of us editing and working on the go.
In terms of comfort, the backpack’s form-fitting shape is said to distribute a decent amount of weight across your back and shoulders. The padding on the back and shoulders is generous, and the shoulder straps have an adjustable chest strap to better stabilise the pack against your torso.
