Curious Arctic Fox Walks Up to Photographer for Close-up

Photographer Stefan Forster, from Switzerland, was photographing landscapes in Greenland when an unusual star approached him. A curious, wild Arctic fox made his way towards Forster for a closer look.

Arctic foxes are white during the winter, but in the summer they will turn back to a brown colour. It’s these beautiful white coats that make them an attractive target for wildlife photographers, but getting this close is fairly unprecedented.

Despite getting his lens hood chewed at by the fox, Forster also managed to shoot some lovely portraits of the fox.

Here’s another cute clip from the encounter.
