WPOTY is Looking for a New Touring Exhibition Coordinator

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the world’s most celebrated nature photography competition, each year delivering the best of planet Earth’s plethora of beauty. If you’re itching to get involved in their excellence, then this is for you – the competition is looking for an all new Operations Coordinator for their Touring Exhibitions section.

Part of the Natural History Museum, WPOTY winning snaps are not only brought to our screens and showcased in the museum in London, but also tour around the globe.

The role on offer, as part of the Operations team of the Touring Exhibition section, will report to Senior Operations Manager and “support all operational work across the Touring portfolio” – focusing on WPOTY in particular.

Managing the “production and delivery” of the WPOTY touring exhibition, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of WPOTY to venues worldwide.
  • Overseeing the creation of supporting materials provided to customers.
  • Signing off all marketing and collateral materials created by hosting venues.

The Natural History Museum are looking for individuals with “excellent organisational and communication skills”, to make sure of efficient setting up and exiting of installations across national and international venues – with budget and time constraints at the fore.

Candidates will be expected to think on their feet and resolve issues when they occur, whilst “feeding into internal teams” in keeping with their reputation of quality and efficiency.

Support to their sales team will be equally essential, to maximise client satisfaction in the role.

For a successful application, they are looking for people with “logistics/operations experience”, alongside a “knowledge of design and build”.

Those applying will need experience in project management, with great client and stakeholder management skills. In addition, first-rate budget management and the “ability to monitor and control costs” is ideal. If you have worked internationally before, or speak two or three languages, then this role is perfect for you.
