Last updated: 9th September 2016 at 21:18 UK time.
By booking a red squirrel photography workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1.1 “Workshop leader” refers to the person conducting the workshop on the day. “Supplier” or “Workshop supplier” refers to the person or company running the workshop (this may be the same entity as the workshop leader). “Workshop” refers to the photography session you have booked. “Customer” or “You” refers to the person booking the workshop.
1.2 By booking a workshop from Nature TTL, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions at all, you must not book a workshop.
1.3 These terms and conditions will be governed under English law, regardless of the origin of the customer or location of the workshop.
2.1 When booking your workshop on the Nature TTL website, you must ensure all of the information asked of you is correct.
2.2 If you are given the option to select a date for your workshop, this is not a guaranteed time slot. Your workshop leader will contact you to confirm your booking date or recommend an alternative. Please check the availability section on the workshop listing to confirm available dates.
2.3 Nature TTL acts only as the agency for the supplier of the workshop. Your booking contract is made with the workshop supplier.
2.4 Once your booking is complete, you will be emailed a summary of your booking. The workshop leader will make contact with you to confirm dates and itinerary. If you are not contact with 3-4 days by the workshop leader, you must email [email protected] immediately to avoid delays.
2.5 There is no opportunity, under any circumstances, for a refund of your workshop fee once your workshop has been complete.
2.6 Your booking fee does not include any expenses such as accommodation, travel and other items of a personal nature.
3.1 Your workshop booking date may be amended, free of charge, up until 14 days prior to your booking (subject to availability).
3.2 Cancellations must be made immediately in writing to [email protected] Your cancellation will be registered on the day we receive your email. We are not responsible for any delay in your email’s receipt, but you are welcome to call the office to confirm.
3.3 You have 14 days after your booking to cancel and receive a full refund of the workshop fee (unless you booking was made within 14 days of the workshop date, in which case no refund will be given as per 3.4).
3.4 Should you cancel your workshop up until, but not including, 30 days prior to the booking date, you will be refunded 50% of the workshop fee. The remaining 50% will be retained by Nature TTL.
3.5 No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 30 days of the confirmed booking date of the workshop session.
3.6 Both Nature TTL and your workshop leader reserve the right to cancel any booking due to illness, or extreme weather conditions. You will be offered an alternative date or issued a full refund of your workshop booking, but you will not be reimbursed for other costs associated with your visit such as, but not limited to, travel and accommodation.
4.1 Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Whilst workshop leaders will make their best efforts to ensure you see the target species, we cannot guarantee this due to the nature of the task. You will not be refunded or offered another session in the event that you do not see or take photos of wildlife.
4.2 We cannot control the weather. Should your workshop go ahead, you will not be refunded or offered another session if the weather is bad.
4.3 You will be given an itinerary for your session, which will be used as a guideline by your workshop leader. There may be alterations made if your workshop leader thinks it appropriate.
5.1 You must conduct yourself in a polite, calm manner. You must follow the instruction of your workshop leader at all times (unless you feel your safety is at risk).
5.2 Alcohol or drugs are not to be consumed during the workshop.
5.3 Smoking is not permitted from when you leave the collection point, until your return.
5.4 Your workshop leader has the right to terminate your workshop, with no refund or alternative session offered, should your conduct be deemed threatening or potentially damaging to either the natural environment, wildlife or the workshop leader themselves.
5.5 You may not feed the squirrels yourself. Your workshop leader will be available to place appropriate foods at their discretion.
5.6 Please do not sit, stand or lean on any dry stone walls. The walls at the workshop site are very fragile and you must only pass through the walls at locations identified by your workshop leader.
5.7 Any damage caused by the customer, or the customer’s party, must be paid for in full to the workshop supplier.
6.1 Nature TTL acts only as the booking agent for this workshop. We are not liable for any damage, injury or death during the workshop. Liability remains with the workshop supplier, to the extent outlined in 6.2.
6.2 You attend the workshop at your own risk. The workshop leader is not liable for any financial loss, damage or loss of equipment, or personal injury.
6.3 Any insurance claims that may arise in connection with the workshop must only be made against the supplier’s insurance, not Nature TTL.
