Photograph the New Forest ponies, amongst other wildlife, in the New Forest National Park with this wildlife workshop.
Join Helen Beech for a day photographing the most famous residents of the New Forest, the New Forest ponies. We’ll also train our lenses on any other wildlife we may come across, such as donkeys and the slightly more elusive Highland cattle.
Along the way there will also be some stunning landscapes and macro opportunities to try our hand at. The workshop starts early at around 9am to make the most of the morning light, and will finish early afternoon at around 2pm. We will move around the New Forest to a number of locations in a convoy (or leave some vehicles in a free car park), as there are a number of lovely spots for us to get some great images, stopping for lunch at one of the many picnic areas.
All levels of photographic ability are welcome, although the workshop is better suited to beginner or intermediate amateur photographers. Helen prides herself on her friendly and welcoming approach, and understands that sometimes even the more advanced photographer just wants some company, or to find new locations, on a shoot!
