Join us on a photo tour of Myanmar, where gilded pagodas, colourful cultures, and striking landscapes provide an abundance of photographic inspiration. During this photographic adventure, you’ll explore the many elements that make Myanmar unique, and improve your photography skills along the way.
This Myanmar Photo Tour offers incredibly diverse photographic opportunities. You’ll visit temples, remote villages, ancient monasteries and vibrant markets to immerse yourself in the local culture, and capture some of its colourful character. You’ll also have the unique experience of visiting the Kayan villages of Pan Pet. These largely unexplored villages are famous for their traditional brass ring necklaces and skilful handicrafts.
Be prepared to meet some of the most kind, engaging, and passionate people you’ll ever meet. From the monks and nuns to the villagers and city dwellers, the Burmese people will offer you a sincere hospitality, and you will be able to practise some brilliant portrait photography.
There will be plenty of landscape photography opportunities, too. We’ll drift down the Irrawaddy River, explore the vast Inle Lake, and photograph scattered pagodas on rolling hills. An absolute highlight during this photo tour in Myanmar is a hot air balloon ride over the ancient city of Bagan, where distinct peaks of historic temples create a stunning silhouette against the rising sun.
